4. Remove the old IBM ThinkPad R52 Hinge, by sliding them out. Insert the new hinges in place of the old ones. Place the hinges in the correct place -- the right hinge and the left hinge. Attach the screws back in place. Replace the bezel on the screen and secure with the screws. Attach the cables to the LCD and motherboard.
